Morning Hardwood – May 14, 2012
14 May
It’s yo boy! Mike! Back again with another round of some hardwood for your ass. I just spent the morning searching for LeBron/Gloria/Delonte Mothers Day pieces, to no avail… so you get the following:
Hero Ball Redefined (from Hardwood Hype)
Yeah I know, this is from last Thursday… SO WHAT? I didn’t see it then but I wanted to let the fine people of IGHN see some hot fire. Emile examines “hero ball” and what it does, and doesn’t mean. Check it.
Metta World Peace Won’t Be Fist Bumping Harden Because He’s a Reserve, Apparently (from Pro Basketball Talk)
It isn’t exactly “Hit Em Up” or “Takeover,” but Metta World Peace puts in some diss work on James Harden. You know, the guy that Metta elbowed in the head intentionally, didn’t call to apologize to and then showed a complete lack of remorse to. That guy. He clearly deserves it.
Hakeem Olajuwon Dismantles David Robinson and the Spurs in Game Five of the 1995 Western Conference Finals (from You Tube)
I DISTINCTLY remember this game. I was like the world’s biggest David Robinson as a little kid and this god made my question my belief in god. Turns out that The Dream was nothing to be fucked with. Enjoy the rest of the playoffs, you guys.
